I watched the documentary film produced by Rhonda Byrne entitled “The Secret’.  The day after, I decided to tender my resignation as a Team Leader at the Call Center Company where I worked for almost three years.

 

 

I had a very relaxed job.  I do not answer calls from irate clients which I used to do for two years.  I do not have quotas to reach.  All I do is manage a team and guide them on how to solve troubleshooting problems on their networking devices. I had a good paying salary but it didn’t make me happy.  Something is missing and I have to find it.  But how will I do that?

 

 

I have decided to quit my job for me to move on.  In the office, it is inevitable not to hear negative comments coming from the agents.  Clients would call because they are frustrated with the products.  They tend to be angry and would squeal all the time.  The agents on the other hand would also yell as a defence.  The room is filled with negative vibrations.  Agents are shock absorbers.  As a defence, agents would also complain about their low-paying salary and other things as a form of retaliation to the bad experience encountered on the floor.

 

 

If I will not quit the job, I will be attracting negative vibrations for the rest of my stressful life.  As I face in the mirror, I noticed that a decade was added to my face.

 

 

What will my life be like after my resignation?  Will I go back to my passion which is the ARTS?

 

I love fashion design, directing, photography, travel and all but this will not feed me.  Will I manage back my Internet Cafe business?  This is a lucrative one but this would boar me to death.

 

I am confused.  I have been to a lot of extreme jobs but I haven’t stayed long because I always long for my passion.

 

 

I have to quit my job and enjoy a normal life.

 

 

2 days after my last day in the office was Sitti Navarro’s concert in CDO where I was the Assistant Director.

 

Weeks after was the Miss Teen Philippines 2008 Northern Mindanao Finals where I was the Assistant Director.

 

Days later, Dustein Sibug and Jiva Jimenez, state of the art photographers of the country gave a workshop on Photography in Cebu where I joined the team as Workshop Facilitator and Stylist.  We brought two models for a photo-shoot.

 

 

Now, I am busy managing an expansion of my Internet Cafe in Opol.

 

Come June, I will be starting my laptop business.

 

It is such an exciting life if you earn for a living and at the same time be happy with your passion.  What a great decision?  No regrets in my experience at the Call Center.  Computer Networking made it easy for me to run my business.  My developed communication skills helped me a lot in dealing the public.  Thanks to Rhonda Byrne!  Thank God for guiding me with my tough decision.
